I cant decide between the two. I want a chronograph feature, thats why i like the Chrono Colt, but i want an automatic watch, thus the Colt Auto. Can anyone try to break the tie for me? Tell me why you like whichever one more than the other.

Thanks,
cRaSiAn1030

Maybe go for a used superocean chrono. It should cost you a close to a new colt.

I agree that automatic watches are way cool. I especially love to watch the second hand sweep smoothly around.

On the flip side, there is still plenty of exclusivity in Breitling's quartz movements, as they are accurate to 10 seconds per year. That is pretty freakin' amazing! My solution to the dilemma: pick one auto and one quartz that you like, then get both. :D

Haha Mofongo, that'd be nice but unlikely, good idea though!

You're going to get a lot of Auto-leaning opinions here, but I have a Chrono Colt, and could not be happier with it! I won't suggest you go one way or the other as you are the one who ultimately has to wear the thing, but I have had NO issues with my Chrono Colt, and again could not be any happier.

Auto. Most likely you will rarely use the chrono. I'd go for the Colt II auto. I almost bought one myself this week but I decided on a SuperOcean.

Good to see that I'm not the only one w/ the same problem. This purchase will be my first Breitling and it's down to the Colt Auto II or Colt Chrono. The sweep of the auto is very cool. I'm thinking best of both worlds and spend more for the Chrono Superocean.
