I wanted to share with you folk a great customer service story. Hope its an appropriate use of the forum...
Having recently purchased my first 'Ling - Skyland Avenger - I was in the market for a winder. Taking note of the experience in this forum I decided on the Orbita Sparta Deluxe. Being in the UK - there are not too many retailer options.
Again - based on feedback in this forum and others - I sent my business to the Watch Prince (
http://www.thewatchprince.com). They are probably a little on the pricey side - but have a great customer service record.
Anyway - the winder arrived yesterday. On inspection I found that there was damage to one of the inside walls of the box. Looks like something heavy has scapred against it tearing the lining.
Of course I let them know and they immediately responded offering to fully refund the cost including some out of pocket costs. Unfortunately they have had a string of problems with international shipments so now will only offer bands for international shipment.
As the damage is only cosmetic - and easily fixed - I'm going to hold on to the winder.
From my point of view - these guys have given me a great customer experience. I'd highly recommend them to anyone buying from the US.
