He is possibly conected with a Breitling Museum guy, judging by his 'optimistic' (great word Roff) :D prices.

Gert - finally - another person who appreciates the Rallye - some of the misguided members here tried to make that the ugliest Breitling ever a few months back.

There are a few Belgian / German dealers that seem to have a network that I can't figure out that supplies some very rare, and very collectable pieces - but the pricing is way out of whack.

I like it a lot, only drawback is the size, 40mm is a little small imo. He asks 1.900 eur but you can make an offer. I guess it will part for about 1.750 eur which is not that expesive for such a rare and let's face it unique Breitling. I love the red strap in exactly the same colour as the small needles.

You see them come up occasionally - they sell for a fraction of that though - the one you originally saw is probably in the $600 - $700 range, this one still no more than $1,000.

The coating on both is PVD though - you have been warned!
