Just noticed this today that you can buy all Breitling straps direct from their website.

Breitling Straps

I'm glad to see this finally added and prices seem lower than I recall. For instance, I paid $150 for the rubber aero classic and now they're selling the same strap for $75 with the buckle and a spring bar tool. Maybe if I call Breitling, they'll send me another one for free since I basically paid for 2 already.

Yeah, to be exact, I paid $180 for the same strap last year since they charged $30 for shipping and a processing fee for my credit card. I only went through the boutique after I was told it was unavailable to order from my AD. The price for the strap last year was $125 for the rubber and $25 for the buckle. Now you only need to spend $75 total and they'll throw in a Breitling spring bar tool. I guess my lack of patience cost me an extra $105. I would have ordered the same strap in black for my Airborne if they were only $75 last year.

I did send Mr. Kern a message on Linkedin asking him how they went from $150 last year to only half the price this year. I'm never one to complain about a price drop until I'm the one who kind of got jerked around on it. I'll keep you guys posted if I get a response.

One positive though from this is that I was pleasantly surprised to see the econyl nato straps come in at $150. I know it's still a lot but it's cheaper than Omega plus you're doing something good for the planet. I'd love to see how the light blue one would look in real life, it's almost too bright for me right now but wouldn't mind having it in the summer for my Superocean Heritage.

Thanks for the heads-up, Justin. I had been hoping that Breitling would somehow catalogue all of their available straps -- and the fact that you can simply purchase these directly is a plus.

I already ordered my first one -- the Brown Orlando Calfskin leather. Should offer an alternative to the darker brown version that is currently on my TWA Navi. (You may want to consider one for your Airborne!)

I get it, I'm upset over a price drop which doesn't make sense and it is only $75, but come on, they cut the price in half on the one strap I've had to buy directly from Breitling in my lifetime so I've got the right. I'll be perfectly fine with it if they want to send me the same strap in black for my Airborne to make me feel better about the price drop, but I also know i have just as good of chance as having them send me a free watch.

The same strap you have on your TWA Navi is already en route to Govberg from Breitling and will eventually make its way to my wrist. I'm still thinking about adding the blue military strap but it's not available yet online.

So, another observation. I'm wondering whether the strap portion of the site is complete yet. For example, the fact that there is a 20mm "gold" croc strap, and a 24mm "gold" croc strap, but no 22mm version, makes little sense to me.

I'm also wondering whether the "camel" croc strap has disappeared entirely... :( Where have the green khaki military straps gone? Will Breitling no longer be offering what I would call "legacy" straps that have been made available in the past for certain models?

I think the site has to be a work in progress. I thought I remember seeing the blue diver pro in 22mm yesterday but now it's no longer there. They have the 20mm and 24mm, but no 22mm. I also saw they added in the electric blue strap from the B50 as well now. I just need to tell myself to not go overboard ordering straps like I did when I owned a Panerai.

I still think this is a great idea for Breitling, even with the new lower prices than a year ago. ADs aren't going to stock straps and even if they did, you're paying full retail anyway so it's nice to be able to just buy them whenever you want and have them shipped. The fact they throw in a spring bar tool is a nice touch as well.

I feel your pain Justin, but from a purely selfish perspective it's great to see at least one strap option coming in a bit cheaper than previously.

As far as I can tell (and it is a long time since I bought a Breitling strap) the croco ones seems pretty much the same price - £460 GBP - or in other words, still quite a lot!

It looks like from my memory that both the rubber and calf straps went down in price. I thought the calf leather straps used to be around $225 with the buckle but now they all seem to be around $175.

I'm going to try Jim, but I've already picked out quite a few straps that I'd like to have. With no watch purchases happening anytime soon, I need something to mix it up a little bit.
