It's fake.

How do you know it's fake?

Because it looks nothing like a real Breitling. Two subdials going to 60 are the most obvious give away, common Chinese garbage.

Come here to seek informed advice: always hilarious when they ask how you know when the verdict is not quite what they want.

Underlying question is often "how close is it, could I pass it off as real?" Hence why responses are generally short, definitive and less than understanding.

Don't question Roff, if he says it's fake, discussion over.

I doubt the 'question' is about Roffs knowledge but more about what the tells are. It's still informative to those of us who are less informed than Roff to have some pointers to what makes it a forgery. Although I accept that this one is a POS.

I don't no why anyone would question it as real. It obviously looks cheap. Even the caseback.

It does not look cheap. This watch is a very old watchmaker told me that if it is not then it is one of the best original copy. That's why I wanted to ask you whether or not a copy. The clock is correct, and the chronometers work. there is no need to be so arrogant

That watchmaker needs to get out more. Anyone with even a modicum of familiarity with Breitlings can call that fake in about 5 seconds simply because the subdials make absolutely no sense.
