me neither re the shirt. was in a grey mood (pic's from yesterday, actually), fitting weather.
decided to switch to that strange piece to improve my mood. worked.
that's Roff for you, an almost virginal, but imperfect 1765, silence - but a strange funky Heuer, now I'm having his attention.

do u know of a watchmaker who can repair a winding stem on an EB8420,
our friend hates them ....... ?

1765s are a lot more common than that :poke:

Sorry, don't know of anyone with expertise on the EB8420, but crown stem is removed by removing the set lever - assume that's how Craig was doing it???

Holy Schnapps that's awesome Fred. Never ever seen one like that before. Fascinating dial that's just signed Leonidas too.

they are really nice, but - so the story goes - almost drove Heuer into the abyss; massive reliability problems with the Ebauches Bettlach movement. actually fell into my hands - seller had it in a very nice 50s Zenith box and on a NOS Tropic strap - at a starting bid of 160 Euro, less than strap and box are normally selling for. stumbled upon it and was the only bidder. more about them here: http://www.calibre11.com/heuer-easy-rider/

That is clean. Don't know about Driver but I'd wear that. My vintage today:
