Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and have a question. Does anyone know of an 18kt white gold bentley motors special edition watch limited to just 25? I have one and it is a no. 1. It has a mother of peal face but no diamonds. no matter where I go online i get no information on this watch all I get is stainless models or "replica"

Any info would be great.

uh, im going to go out on a limb and say youve got a fake on your hands. especially if you have "#1" in the series and have to question it's authenticity.

edit: a quick google search came up with this, apparently there is a limited edition of 50, not 25 white gold motors models.

http://www.timezone.com/library/news/ne ... 5925781250

but again, the chances of you having a #1 in such a limited series and not being positive of what it is, is pretty astronomical.

@greenbridge

Can you post a picture?

If not, can you describe both front and back, where you bought it and price.

I hope you have a rare, valuable watch but it does seem odd you can't find any details.

The fact that there's no info online doesn't bother me - try finding details on the limited edition of 10 QP rattrapante that I have posted about recently.

It's the number 1 that bothers me more - usuall you need a connection to Breitling to get that because they aren't generally sold.

I can relate to the fact of thinking it's fake but, I did buy it from an AD and have the registration and all paperwork. Came in a wooden presentation box, and it has 3 different automobiles engraved on back: speed six, A type Continental and Continental GT. It says Special Edition limited to 25. The bezel is not checkered but instead is a smooth swirl cut. Serial number is
J25383. I know the J represents 18kt white gold. I will try to get a picture or two and post it. Does this help me identify it. I don't want to appear sketchy to the AD as they said it was rare to have a number one since most are kept in Switzerland.

If you purchased it from an AD i'm sure its real.

Guys I think he was just saying that when he wanted to learn more about the watch all he got was replicas in the search results.. understandable since there are so many replica watch dealers out there.

About your watch.. well.. There's nothing I can add, and likely not a whole lot anyone else can add. If it says its a limited edition of 25, that's what it is.. 25 in existence, and you are one of the lucky 25.. the luckiest, in fact, since you have number 1. Aside from that, there is nothing really special about the watch that I know of... it is exactly the same as any of the other Breitling for Bentley Motors T watches, except that yours is solid white gold. It is a Motors T, not a Motors, based on your description of the bezel.

oh you hadnt mentioned you grabbed it from an AD. nothing to worry about then, as the admin mentioned. on such a limited edition, it would odd to find any information on the internet about it, outside of the breitling website itself. since they arent providing that information no other site would be likely to. if you really wanted more information regarding it, calling breitling is certainly an option.

You are indeed lucky to have a number 1 - the AD was right that they are not commonly available. As others have said the fact that it came from an AD alleviates any concenrs about whether it's real, but as Admin noted, it doesn't sound like it has anything special about the watch over any other Motors T - except for that minor point of it being solid white gold of course :wink:
