Just got my Breitling. It will be a daily watch, will just take it off or showering and manual work but will wear while splashing in the sea occasionally.

Yep, I wear my Navi Olympus every day unless I'm flying. Then I wear my 1809 Cossie. The Olympus is going in for service soon and I 'll wear my 1903 while it is gone.

My Wolf is almost 4 years old (and still on it's original battery - so the dreaded 6+ weeks pining for the its return with a fresh battery is nigh :(). I wear it every day and I love it. I don't 'baby' it and only take it off at night (poor eyesight + skeleton minute hand = no hope of reading the time). I've read that BUK will replace the minute hand during the 1st battery replacement and hope that this is the case - I may then start wearing the Wolf at night too.

I never have mine off, even though its a Super Avenger  , i am used to the size and weight its no longer an issue.
Wearing it in the shower keeps the metal clean and up to a good shine, also use a liquid stainless steel cleaner to keep that just bought look. Swirls and scratches have been minimal its just a matter of taking it off for any manual tasks or jobs especially working on the car.
As long as the crown is tight there is little water issues with a SA......it was bought to wear not to be sat on a winder out of sight.
Returning it back to new condition will be done at every service,..........but you have to be satisfied with the piece you own and want no other, to do this ........all my other pieces are redundant now.......too small.... :lingsrock:

Take off to shower, change motor oil, and run a chainsaw.
Not anal about scratches.

I'm glad to see that so many of us wear them all day every day. As others have said, I bought mine to wear.
Admittedly I only have one decent watch so it's not too much of a problem ;)
Soon I'll have a second, so unless I trade mine in or sell it, I'll have choices to make :-)

I'm in the same boat. I just can't wear a watch around the house.

I wear my Ti Seawolf all day at work,Enforcement.
Only comes off for sleep/showers/working on bikes/cars etc.
I might not put it on around the house on weekends but never leave the house without one on.
Its a real go anywhere watch and I'm not worried about giving it a few knocks.

Why? Is there a logical explanation to that or is it just a habit?

I am guessing it is mostly from habit. When I come home I empty my pockets, take off my shoes, and put whatever watch I am wearing away. If I am not wearing something very comfortable then I change as well.
