Glad it finally worked out for. I've have my fingers crossed regarding the new movement.

Congrats on upcoming wedding.

Those who have stayed tuned to this saga will probably be pleased to know that this will hopefully be my final post on the topic. Breitling finished replacing and testing the new B01 movement on Monday and shipped my Chronomat back to me. I received it the next day! So far, all seems to be well. I'm continually cycle testing the chronograph, but the "skipping" issue seems to be gone. After replacing the entire movement, this is what I would expect.

I do want to give BUSA some serious kudos for procuring a movement from Switzerland, as the technical director initially said it couldn't be done and the watch would have to go to Switzerland for repair. Also, he was able to complete all the work in time for my wedding, which is this Saturday. Overall, I only had one hiccup with the process this time around- the three week communication hiatus. However, given the fact BUSA was able to come through on a reasonably tight timeline, I'm pleased with the outcome. I know other continue to be displeased with BUSA's service, but I'm hard pressed to be too unhappy.

Thanks for the update. Breitling did go the extra mile for you on this one. Granted, they should have, given what you had been through. But there are a lot of instances where "should" doesn't translate into "does." In this case it did, so good for Breitling on this one. :lingsrock:

Good luck with the wedding and all that follows.

I love a happy ending

It's been a painful period, but reassuring that BUSA eventually stepped up to the plate. Hopefully Breitling are addressing the movement issues that clearly aren't just isolated to your watch.

All the very best for this weekend - enjoy every moment.

Glad this whole story had a happy ending and that BUSA ultimately did what they should have done from the start.

All my best for the upcoming :D

As always, thanks for the kind words, gentlemen. I love a happy ending too, Roff :D

Unfortunately . . . I mean fortunately . . . I'll only be getting those from one woman after Saturday.

I take back everything I said. The watch is still broken. When I start the chronometer, the minute counter jumps ahead to the first minute. I know another member had this issue, but this is a first for me. I'll be calling BUSA tomorrow to let them know. However, I'm not sending it back to them anymore. I'll wait until I'm living in the UK and send it to Switzerland around the September time frame.

Breitling- the gift that keeps on giving. FML.

Unbelievable. The B01 clearly has issues, but your luck has to be the worst. Time for compensation I think.

I'm definitely not buying a lottery ticket or stepping into a casino anytime soon. With my wedding two days away and my international move shortly thereafter, I'm in no place to worry about it anymore. The watch functions normally aside from the chrono, so I'm just going to wear it until I feel like sending it back in. I was so focused on the sweeping chrono hand I didn't notice the minute hand jumping until today.

You can bet I'm going to ask for something from BUSA for all my agony. As usual, I'll keep you posted.

Geez...so sorry to hear that your seemingly never-ending saga to fix your B01 is not over. As you said...no need to focus on that with "the big day" coming up so soon, but hopefully Breitling steps up to the plate once you have relocated and makes this right for you. IMO you have been extremely patient with them to this point.

Can you file a lawsuit? This is very disturbing.
