I wasnt aware that Breitling would as far as replacing a case and or dial. Is that an expensive exercise?

Dial and crystal replacement is relatively common, if needed or requested. This is the first I've heard of case replacement. At that point, it seems it would be more cost effective for Breitling just to replace the watch (or the owner buy a new watch, if it's not under warranty).

The case is £145.38
The Crystal £160.00

both subject to vat

I am undertaking the overhaul service , it needs a new crown and I have chosen to change to a silver dial £275

All these are subject to VAT so with the AMOC discout I am expecting to pay a little over £800 which is well worth it as it will be as new (in most cases will be new!!!)

Cheers guys

John

I wouldn't have guessed a new case would cost less than a new crystal. I learn something every day. What was wrong with the old case, just out of curiosity?
