I have always been curious.....when these goons destroy a watch like this, is the process just as easy to reverse, or are these watches forever lost to the world?

I would imagine that something like this would be a simple swap of the bezel, but I'm not sure and I honestly never want to find out. I've never understood the reasoning of putting a bezel on a watch that completely covers the case.
