I would appreciate any information on a Breitling ladies watch.

In the lower half of the face, I believe I can read Incabloc.

On the back is

Fond Acier Inox

The bracelet showls the name handley.

Not much I can do without photos.

Fond Acier Inoxydable simply means Stainless Steel, and Incabloc is a 'shock absorption' system used for the jewels that doesn't really tell us anything except the watch dates to later than the mid 1930s (when Incabloc was invented).

The serial and model numbers don't match up to anything on the face of it - the serial is inconsistent with Breitling's serials (at least for the 1940s to the late 1970s), and all the vintage ladies Breitlings that I can find have four digit model numbers.

With a caseback that shape it would amost have to be genuine, which raises some interesting questions on the model and serial numbers. Let me see if I can find any comparables in the guide, but this may be a very early watch if it's genuine.

Forgot to add that it still runs and appears to keep good time.

I can't find anything that looks similar, but there were so many different variations of ladies watches that doesn't mean much. The serial number puts it pre 1944 and the style of the watch certainly matches a mid 30s era piece - haven't seen too many movements from that era but I'm slightly surprised to see English on the movement.

Ladies Breitlings aren't worth much - typically in the $200 - $500 range unless you get solid gold and I don't see any reason that this would be any different.
