How come their isnt much love for the Montbrillant Datora? its really starting to grow on me. Especially the white face, and I noticed they hold their resale value. Maybe cause they are not that common.

Not sure. They are pricey with a MSRP of $6800. I would love one if I could find a pre-owned one.

I don't think that they hold their value any better than any other Breitling.

They are fairly expensive new as Zirotti notes, and the dial is very busy which some people find hard to read. It also suffers from the problem that many Navitimers suffer from that it's perceived as impractical because of the low water resistance.

I wanted one from looking at the catalog, but in person I thought the dial was too busy and a little hard to read to I passed on it. Its a cool watch, just a little busy for me.

I have had my Datora for almost 2 years now. I still love it and it is my favorite watch. I just love the busy dial. Every time i use my Seawolf, i think it look empty and to clean. I had to take corrective surgery with laser on my eyes to se the dial

I've always thought the hour and minute hand just look sort of short on this model.

Ahhh but the calendar, so individual the way the crescent pointer shows the date.

And yes the hands are on the short side, the dial very busy but I would have one tomorrow.
