Thank you! The diagram is a page from my O-2A flight manual illustrating some items in the cabin configuration. Those two M-16's are secured on clips provided on the left side panel. The O-2A's are a 3 seat aircraft and often carried 1 or 2 observers who made use of the weapons when necessary. Hope this helps... :wink:

Ron, thanks for clarifying, it's interesting to me not just because of military aviation but also because my job is mechanical engineering design. So anything technical creates curiosity!
