Just joined. I have been reading/lurking for sometime anticipating a Breitling purchase. I took delivery of a preowned Colt44 quartz yesterday. I will post a case-back question shortly.

I have been collecting and trading watches for the last 20 years. My present dress watch is an older Rollie GMT master II. I dropped a deuce when I discovered that it's worth 5 times what I paid for it. Now it's staying in the safe. I was looking for a replacement nice watch that I could also wear almost daily. There will be many days that I won't wear it and I don't want the PIA of setting it often. Watch winder?....nah. So the logical conclusion is a quartz. Super quartz/thermally compensated quartz was indeed in my future. I have always wanted a Breitling and now I had a justification that made sense to the wiff.

I will probably be looking for an addition link for the ProIII bracelet.

Nice to be here.

I have been away for 4 years. No not in prison, but from this site. I sold my navitimer then.
I am still in Singapore and looking to buy a Superocean 46. There are several for sale locally.
I know China is near and all these watches have boxes but few have papers.
Can someone tell me what is the serial number that is being used for fake superoceans? The shop says the watch is form 2017, and he has some other shop receipt for the initial purchase but the wallet in the box has no paper work. Who throws away papers from a wallet that they leave in the house?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Phil
