I have an opportunity to buy a Super Avenger for $1800, BUT it needs work. The pics look pretty good, with some scratches on the case and band, but the crystal looks good. What do ya'll think? How much for a spa treatment? Here is the sale description:

Selling my Super Avenger. It has been worn everyday for the last 1.5 years so it needs a little love. Ive never had it polished or buffed so it does have scratches and swirls. The chronograpgh buttons are sticky as Im sure the watch needs to be cleaned. Sometimes the Chrono does not work if the buttons are not pushed hard. Still under warrenty from Breitling so it just needs to be sent out. Ive already replaced ti with another piece so Id prefer just to sell it as is. Keeps perfect time and is overall a great watch somebody just needs to get the Chrono fixed and a good Cleaning/Buffing. Comes with all boxes, manuals, and warrenty paper work. Purchased from local AD here in the GTA.

Blow out price $1800 U.S.

If you have to pay anywhere from $300-500 for a treatment at Breitling, you're still only paying $2300 for an SA on a bracelet which seems like a good deal.

If the guy is in the GTA I can give it the once over for you - check condition, match the papers to the watch, confirm manufatcure date, etc.

i decided to pass on this one. I really have my heart (and budget) set on a Navitimer World, and don't want to use the funds for something else.
