Fred, what’s the brown strap you have on it? Is it available ?

I fluked into finding the watch today up here in Canada. Got a call from one of the places I contacted. Should have it Wednesday.

congrats, hope you'll love it!

strap is from Hod inkee (yes, that is still suppressed b the forum software here, so adding a space, also in the link below, u need to remove that).
this is "Aged Brown", but "Aged Grey" looks great too.

https://shop.hod inkee.com/collections/straps/products/aged-brown-leather-watch-strap?variant=13819918404

a cheaper and nice option are the Milanostraps Gaucho Leather:

also nice, the "Epsom" by Milano, but tapering is 22/20, so not perfect (talked to the owner, he may add 22/18s....

I know I will. Perfect compliment to the ‘67 i have. Was both surprised and excited that I got a call after seeding out a few emails over a month ago.

And thank you for the strap references. I’ll check all of those out.

here's a lovely variation, the 1959 Edition in platinum.
an "interpretation" of the original, so not a "RE-Edition".

limited to 59 pieces

I still prefer the SS version, but the platinum version is a lovely looking piece.

dial is lovely irl - and these replaced those blinged-out diamond-studded Bentley monsters as "high end offerings" the Boutiques desperately wanted; quite a change ;)
selling nicely too, I hear.

I like the lume color better on the platinum version, looks to be more white.

Saw the SS version the other day at the AD, not a big fan of the vintage lume or the price, ha!

An SS version with the blue dial would almost certainly lead me to pulling the trigger on one of these.
