As you might know, my addiction does not stop with collecting vintage Breitlings, I do like to add historical background, period advertising, catalogs, boxes and, most of all, user manuals.

12-12-12 seemed a good day to upload some; Roff, could you ask admin to make this a sticky, as I plan to add quite a bit more during the next weeks ?

Below I've uploaded one of the nicest finds, an original Breitling Geneve printed catalog for the earliest Navitimer 806, it came, together with a typed Wakmann-issued AOPA version and the original box - and, last, but not least, that beautiful GP Navitimer 806 project watch, resurrected by Craig.

The manuals are stored on photobucket, albums are password protected; password is: watchfred

I would ask you to respect my copyright; quite a lot of effort and funds are invested in this user manual collection, use and distribute the files as much as you want, but leave the watermark intact; this actually is meant for one person only, TheSage Michael.

which Chrono-Matic, there's about 10 different models from 69.

sliderule functions for the Navi/Cossie 1806/1809 are the same.

the 2111 has no sliderule as you know, just a regular chronograph, so standard "how to use a chronograph" manuals were suppled, nothing 2111-specific.

is there a particular question u have ?

What a great post! I too love me some vintage docs. Just makes the watch they go with that much more cool!

Question, what format is this manual in? Is it just a piece of paper folded or was it in some sort of booklet? I have the original docs that came with a 1968 Top Time that were in a very cool booklet with cover and all.

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing Fred! Do you happen to have any manuals for the 784/785's?

Great literature and very timely for me (who never used a slide-rule). Thank you!

Hi,

Would you happen to have any documents on a Navitimer 1971?
I was left one by my late father in law.

The effort you put into providing this information is greatly appreciated. In doing research, I see a lot of discrepancy in the original 1954 pre-806 Navitimer USA box and papers. From what I have seen on the site, it seems the original instructions were just on a sheet of paper and the box was likely the ostrich covered box from Italy. Could someone verify or correct me. Thanks.
