Hi folks, sorry if this is the wrong section for this question but just looking for some advice on value. I have a SOHII 46MM in blue with bracelet. It is around 9 months old and I have just not gotten attached to it. It sits in my safe burning up warranty. I have probably worn it 3 times. It is mint and I have the boxes and docs for it. Contemplating swapping it for a new Navi B01 in Blue, 46MM as well. What would be a good trade value with a trusted AD that I purchased the watch from 9 months ago. Fleabay looks to be around 3500 for a nice example but not sure how it works with trades, also, I assume 20% off on the Navi is fair with an AD I know and have spent a few buck at over the last 4 years or so.

I think you will be disappointed with the offer from your local AD. Keep in mind that they are able to order new watches at approximately 40-50% of MSRP. With that in mind they will be hard pressed to offer you more than that. They will cite the fact that the watch will have to be "serviced" by a watchmaker and that they will need to provide a warranty, etc, etc, etc! Unless you have a long and "expensive" relationship with the AD in question you will be better off trying to sell it on your own. Unfortunately, that decision also opens cup another can of worms! Good Luck!

Watch is 11 months old with a 5 year factory warranty. Not due for service for a while. I guess I will see what they say.

I agree with Scott. Even though it is new, they’ll probably still insist on a service. ADs buy new watches at 40% off of retail so I wouldn’t expect anywhere near that. The only way I could see them giving more is to offer even less of a discount on a new watch.

Ya, it is on Craigslist now. We will see how it does. Kinda disappointed with the way Breitling has flooded the market to the point that their products hold no resale value. I do not expect to make money on the deal but they seem to drop like a rock on the secondary market.
