Hi everyone,

Been looking at this 810.
I realize the crown´s been replaced. But what about the caseback? Owner says it was originally fitted this way. Any thoughts? And thus this influence the overall value of the piece?

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thank you

Dial has been changed some time in the past. 824 has the 24 hr dial like the Cosmonaut. So sadly this watch in incorrect in current configuration. Still... nice watch!! I would not kick it out of bed.

First thing I would do is check the hour rotation to see if it's every 12 hour or 24 hour. Worse case scenario would be they changed the dial and not the 24 hr gear in the movement. Either way it's going to be a problem.

Breitling did assemble a batch of 810s in 824 cases, but normally "remarked" those cases by covering the original reference number with an engraved triangle; assume this was forgotten here, looks like the most probably explanation why a perfectly correct (assume also perfectly functioning as a 12h watch) 810 Mk2 panda ended up in this case.
