Maybe its own thread instead of rehashing the old and having to look at a lot of old comments

Good examples (from my memory)
All black digital 765 AVI was sold a few months ago for "only" 8K , compared to $7100 in 2009 , the watch that originally started this thread. Personally i'd expected more of an increase from 2009 to 2013 ?
V72 recently sold for $12K on ebay and $15k through christies, both watches in good / great condition
A 70ies rattrapante recently fetched $40K i. A auction
An all black 806 typically fetches now between 3800 - 4500
Black white 765 avi's in pristine condition fetch 4750
There's a 1962 b/w cossie for sale right now, asking $9k (was 12) should sell for ?
Reasonable 1765 just sold for 3.8K euro (5k usd)

3 years later

All black 1953 765 AVI (digital and analog), this particular watch now has a nickname 'Lucy' , prices have gone up significantly with good to extremely good examples fetching 20-25K euro . I have not observed any difference in price between the 1953 serial and later all blacks . maybe because there are so few the market currently does not differentiate between them

V72 Navitimers , prices of 20-25K are not unheard of for good to extremely good examples

Rattrapantes : ref 764 , another 70ies ratty that is seen previously , sold 25K CHF
(regarding authenticity , this is now the 2nd or 3rd piece that has surfaced and Breitling themselves even have one in their basement , so I am leaning to 'authentic' on these)

An all black 806 typically fetches now between 5000 - 7500

Black white 765 avi / cp 'Raquel Welch' & 'Jean Claude Killy' in pristine condition fetch 10-14K , normal condition 7-10K

Black white 7650's : they keep up with the 765's although personally I would say market is a bit lower than the JCK's

765/7650/7660 Yachting : a few NOS / MINT ones were recently sold for around 10K each

1962 b/w (or all black ones) cossie , I don't believe any were up for sale since 2014 ? , if an all black one came up for sale for lets say 27K euro , I wouldn't be surprised if it sold quickly

1765 Unitime , I'd say 7500 - 10K euro is the going price these days

1004 SuperOcean : 20K euro (one fetched 27K CHF in a recent auction)

807 SuperOcean : aside from a philips 'Start Stop Reset' where one was auctioned for 65K CHF , I'd say market for a good one is 35K ?

2005 SuperOcean : current market between 8-12K for good condition pieces

817 Military I.E : asking prices are up to 13-15K euro these days where 3 years ago these were around 3500 euro

810 Top Time (panda and reverse panda) : asking prices 6-6.5K , Market sell price currently 5.5-6K euro

That is great info thanks. Is there a price difference between the early all black 765 and the later ones?

Any thoughts on the ref 2005? I saw one for sale beginning of the year for Eur 9500 and now there are a couple for sale for eur 13k eur 16k.

I also saw a nos 7650 sell for chf 26.000.

had missed that rather absurd 26k for the Antiquorum 7650 too.

FyI could have been at least chf2500 more as the auctioneer decided not to accept a bid when the hammer came - was down. There was still active bidding going on, but he decided to let it go for price above.

well... a lovely watch, but there are some scratches on the dial at 8 and the base of the "2" isn't is precise as I'm used to with these ....
NOS - clearly not & I would have loved to examine that lume very, very closely.
toughts, René ?

not really , but there are enough sold pieces on C24 and eBay that if you look for 'sold' ones you get a good idea ?

recent sale at Phillips Geneva for a (outstanding, admittedly) steel 769 at around $8.5k; otherwise the best examples go for around 5k max. fpr steel (recent black dial steel on ebay did NOT meet the reserve at 5.5k), very good gold examples have sold around 7k through christies recently, but most often stay around 5k.

again, talking about excellent examples here, mediocre or poor go well below that.
