Well it looks like Rolex were listening to me!  (Well, almost!)

https://www.rolex.com/watches/baselworl ... -0001.html

For me this is absolute PERFECTION! Slightly larger at 43mm and with the single red text. I know a lot of people will moan like hell about the size and the cylops, especially on the SD, but I have no problem with either. Just need to find out the thickness and assuming it's not horrendous, I can safely say this is one I will definitely be buying. I absolutely love it! :D

I'm torn. Love the text, hate the cyclops, fear it will wear too large on me. Would love to try one on, but I assume that the difficulty will be ever finding one in an AD...

I like it but I'd still prefer it without the cyclops.

I agree with Justin, one of my pet peeves with Rolex is the cyclops, will have to pass!

I have no problem with the cyclops on my SubC and Datejust 2, but I don't think the Seadweller should have one.

Put my name on the waiting list. I love it. The new size, the 3235 caliber, the red , the sexy lugs. I can live with the cyclops.

Well that's the fastest I've ever got my name down on a list for watch! Name down for the new SD at my local AD.

I wonder how many of the watchmakers that worked on the Tudor movement worked on the Rolex movement. Same technology? Both have 70 hours of power reserve. Input anyone?

Isn't it Swiss law that no dive watch can have a cyclops, :) .

It looks to be quite thick also.

43mm...hmmm....actually for Rolex design 40mm seems already the right size IMO...for daily users....well for divers the size justifies. If they retain the 40mm size then the Sub would seem obselete.

Good choice, I hope you love it when it comes in.

I like the new blue dial SS Sky Dweller personally. The MSRP is $14,400 so out of my league, but closer than the precious metal versions.
