Hello, new to the board and hoping someone can help me determine if this watch is authentic. See link below. Appreciate any assistance!

26 views but no replies. Is there anyone that can offer some advice? The seller said the watch was a gift from his ex-wife and he is not positive where she purchased it. What other info can I get or questions I can ask to verify authenticity? Thanks!

Pictures of the watch cant be zoomed in on for me, only the box/papers. Looks okay from what I can see, but a close up of the front & back would help further.

My advice would be to ask the seller to send you a picture of the casebook and photo of the warranty card. Check to make sure serial number are correct and match COSC certificate. The postcard for your free hat has the serial number on it so it should all match, try calling BUSA in wilton CT and see if they have a record of the watch and when it was sold.

Thanks for the feedback. I will ask for close ups of the front and also the back to confirm serial number matches cosc and post card. I'll also ask about warranty card.

I'd be fairly confident that it's legit. I like it!

:yeahthat

not an expert, but... have the exact same watch on my wrist, so yours looks absolutely legit to me.

however, while it says "Box and paperwork included!", i would ask WHAT paperwork... the COSC certificate reads "e-garantie", so a pic of the said e-warranty would help. close-up pics would be good too...

that being said, it is a fantastic watch, and i would say quite a good deal at that price... if all OK!

hope this helps.
cheers,

Thanks, DreamWatcher. I ended up purchasing one from a different seller because the other seller did not provide the additional info and pics that I asked for. It may have been authentic but I was extra nervous being new to the Breitling world.

Not a Skyland but a newer Avenger. The Skyland only ever had white numerals and did not have Swiss made at 6 o clock.I believe they used to send out the Skyland manual with these early crossover models . There are very good fakes of this model. Raised blobby lume dots were a big give away
