This is the cosc cert I got with my SOH...

Image

There is no perforated cutout number in the upper left hand corner. In fact, the only identifying numbers are on the stickers attached to the cert. One is the serial number. The other is a WGB number...not sure what that is, but would appreciate any input. The watch is said to be from 2013. It came with an e-warranty card that says SOH46 and has the same serial number as on the sticker on the cosc cert and as is engraved on the caseback of the watch.

I guess if I have this much concern I shouldn't have purchased to begin with but that is water under the bridge. The watch may have come from a gray market dealer and that might have something to do with the cosc cert not being perforated...or it could all be a very elaborate fake. Any help would be appreciate.

Roff, I started a new thread as opposed to replying to an earlier one in hopes that it might attract more attention. I apologize if that is not what I should have done. I will, if possible, or you can delete my previous thread as this one asks more specific questions. Thanks.

I think this might be okay as it looks like the newer style COSC. I guess you have an electronic warranty card? It shold be fine if the serial numbers match.

Thanks for the reply. The serial number on the caseback, e-warranty card ( designated as cosc ) and on the cosc cert all match. I was concerned that there was no perforated movement number on the cosc cert but I now believe that the newer cosc certs are different in this way. There appears to be a RFID chip under the white sticker that has SOH and the serial number. My guess is that the chip contains all the information about the movement number and other details about the watch.

Anyone else please feel free to chime in. I'm still not sure what WGB 205## means.
