Just back from AD in Sydney and the Breitling Rep was in the shop (yes she was wearing her Starliner) anyway seems if you buy a Ling in Aug 08 you get a Breitling jacket! Is this worldwide or just a promo in Australia?

Haven't heard about anything like that in the US. You can forget about the UK, those guys don't get any respect

First I've heard of it. I bought one in Aug 08 and there was no mention of any jacket. :?:

Might be worth calling your AD. I was in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney where the Rep was reorganising the window display when she told about the jacket deal.

Ah yes, I know that store. Guess this is another excuse to visit my AD.

To be honest I can't see myself wearing a Breitling jacket (or cap, for that matter, which is why I haven't sent off the form for the one I'm suppsedly entitled to). Maybe I can sell it to Mario. :D

Yeah, I can't imagine the AD here in UK saying "oh, btw, you get a free Breitling jacket with your watch".

Free? UK?....

You get a leather Breitling jacket when you get like 5 watches or something. Not at the same time but total from an AD. Or maybe its if you get an all-gold piece. Either way you or the AD will have to send in your registration in order for any of that to happen. Its one of those.

Hmmmmm, to get a free leather jacket here in the UK, I think you'd have to buy 5 watches (all gold OBVIOUSLY) on the same day and in cash, give the AD a foot massage twice a day for the next 10 years, have "Breitling Is The Best" tattooed on your forehead, change your name to Bernard Reitling just so you can sign cheques as B.Reitling, and generally be the AD's gimp for the rest of your natural life.

Haha, perhaps it might be easier to just buy one off of Alpha Industries and have it embroidered yourself

Guys if you can get one......grab it as its a very sharp looking jacket. And Mario it is a XXL and fits like a glove. Good luck men.

There was a green one in my size but I like the black jacket more. When one comes up I might have a go at it ;)
