There is a Breitling Jet Team plane on display at Festival Walk mall in Hong Kong. Not only is the plane inside the mall, but also an array of watches, including all the new Avengers. The prices are official Hong Kong prices and the jewellery shop attached to this event has a shop inside this mall. I was quoted 20% off as a starter already. Enjoy the pics! (The one with the watch absent is a white SA2 steel, put back after I took the pic).

Have you seen the size of shopping malls in Hong Kong? It just flew in and landed of course.
Aghmm, I am confusing size with cost per square foot of retail space ;-)
Yes, it is a model, not the real thing.

Awesome pictures and a big thanks for sharing. Forgive me for sounding like an idiot, but how do you guys know this is actually a model and not the real thing??
It looks real to me?

You're not an idiot. Taking apart an aircraft is a lot of man hours. You have fuel lines, power plant/s, hydraulic lines, electrical lines, rudder and moving parts, wings and moving parts and you have to drain fuel and other fluids before taking things apart. It would cost thousands of dollars or whatever local currency to do this kind of work. So a mockup is easier, it looks real :)

That makes sense. Also they probably don't have a runway at the mall, I should have waited till I was actually awake to post that. 8)
Either way it's really cool. :lingsrock:

If you look at the 2nd picture, you can see the top of the wings. There are no seperations in the skin for ailerons or flaps. Just a fiberglass display.

I did notice that afterwords. No rudders or any moving parts on the wing or tail. Still very cool display though. At first I was thinking that's a lot if trouble to go through just for a model.. They could have easily fit the real thing in that huge mall. Now that I'm actually awake I can see the difference.
No more half asleep posts;)
