I've been thinking of trading or selling my Super Avenger for a Steelfish XL. Have they been discontinued? I'm hoping not! I had one a couple years back, and it's a Breitling I really wish I never sold.

Yes the Steelfish has been discontinued. It has been replaced by the SuperOcean 44 which most people around here don't rate as highly. There may be a very small number of Steelfish in ADs but the word is they're getting pretty scarce; people have been buying them because they're considered a Breitling icon. You can still find good ones second hand in places like the sales forum here.

Thanks for the reply. Thats disappointing. Hopefully they bring it back when nobody buys the superocean 44. I had the 42mm version when it was called the Superocean 2 "abyss". I got sick of it fast.

I thought the Steelfish XL Plus was only 2006 - after that just the Steelfish.
I got a Steelfish in 2010 - love it - the best weekend beater ever made.
