It's fine.
There was more than one style of painted arabic numerals.
The serial number should be beneath the model #, but I can't see it on yours. Could have been over polished. The number between the lugs isn't a serial # - it's the week of the year and year of manufacture, but I'm not sure Breitling did that when your watch was manufactured.
Once again, Thank you and God for this confirmation.
I did have the number beneath the model number. I have that information on my original post itself, just that I have posted in the bottom of the post.

Besides, I can't imagine why the fake industry would make a copy of a Breitling watch discontinued 11 years ago. Back then, the fakes were not even close.
Makes perfect sense.

I would never doubt Sharman or Ade - they know an infinite amount more about watches than me....so just asking them, and not doubting the authenticity, but why is the pearl yellow?
I'm new here and I did see their postings everywhere I trust the findings. About the pearl, I was thinking it is a enamel and I will leave that questions to the experts here.
Now one another question I have is about the brassing as you have all seen in the pictures close to the word Tachymeter, I could see that ring is not concealed with in the bezel. The dial facing picture you could see a minor brass line above the number 12, Is it easy repairable job ?
