authentic, though calling this dial "in good condition" might be stretching the definition a little ....

well. i might have been a little too friendly here, actually quite positive this dial is a lost cause.

Just received an email from The Dalles Spa, might show what a "dial in good condition" looks like, a pre-1944, pre-Premier ref. 760.

Well, yes, but then it's not original. These pieces come up fairly regularly so you will be better off waiting for a better one.

thanks, not too shabby. One of those lucky finds that patience brings you, even at a very decent price.
it is a recent acquisition, so not for sale but to enjoy.
will post some larger pics when it arrives in Vienna, the dial is really in oustanding condition.

dial is nice, thought this is a 1188, typically branded as "Cadette", the lower model range with thinner gold cases, sometimes with hollow lugs, though this seems in nice condition. price is on the high side, but not totally unrealistic for Europe, they do sell in this range from time to time, not a bargain though.

Still seems a bit high to me, but maybe not for Europe?

would think a US price of $1,500 would be in the realistic range, including freight and import duties this would come to approx. Euro 1,500

Well using the Canadian dollars that I am more familiar with 1,500 Euros is currently almost C$2,000
