 I love Formula 1, but I honestly can't believe they didn't give Mosley the boot! Even if he's innocent of the alleged "Nazi overtones" to his S&M sessions, he's still a huge liability to what is a massive global business.

It beggars belief that they are still happy to have him as one of the main "faces" or Formula 1. Money talks, I guess......

Why don't You let him have his fun? He did not harm anyone. And he probably payed his hookers well. (As far as I know, hookers are not illegal in the UK).

its all down to the sordid papers....provided it doesn't involve kids or animals, whatever someone gets up to consensually is upto them........however when it was splashed over the sunday papers, its time for him to go!

ps, prostitution is illegal in the uk, just not particularily heavily policed.

And true or not, the reported Nazi overtones was the final straw given who his father was.

This may be an unfair statement based on only a few minutes, but I met him breifly a couple of times through my work when I was in the UK and as us public educated boys were taught to say "I found him a very odious little man".

Sure everyone is entitled to get up to whatever they want as long as it's all consenting adults.

However, the guy is in the public eye and you do have to modify your behaviour accordingly. Again if it was just the S&M thing, people may well have just laughed at him for a while, but allegations of Nazi undertones (however untrue) is far from a positive image to be even remotely associated with the sport.

Nazi allegations aside, Formula 1 is now a global concern and marketed to many countries where S&M activity is somewhat frowned upon, so it surprises me he's been allowed to stay.

To add another speck of clarity, he's not part of FOM (Formula One Management), rather he chairs the FIA which is the rulemaking and governing body. Formula One cannot fire Max, only the member automobile associations (AAA, ADAC, etc). They had their chance and chose not to.
