Just a place to keep your hand wound watch. Personally I favor hiring beautiful young Egyptian virgins who cool you by waving palm fronds, peel your grapes, and occasionally wind your watch. They pop up from time to time on ebay.

I've been working on getting an Authorized Dealer license to sell these, but ICE keeps giving me flack. Rumor has it that there are a lot of fake Libyan and Sudanese 'models' being sold on eBay so buyer beware...

That stinks. No reason to buy Wolf off fleabay since there are always decent discounts to be had from ADs and if there is anything you want a valid warranty on, it's a watch winder.

Well since I started it I thought I'd keep it from reaching it's inevitable and potentially regretable conclusion. Or, I'm prejudiced against Lybians. They really messed with my boys Doc and Marty.

Fair enough, but just remember, without them there would not have been any plutonium...

I don't know if this is a good deal or not, but if anyone has been looking at Wolf winders/boxes (pretty good quality) then I just got an e-mail code for 50% off your order. The code is "WDSUMMER50".

Just a heads up :lingsrock:

*EDIT* Looks like it excludes stuff already on sale

I am still housing my three watch collection in their individual boxes, but have been considering getting a case to store all three together.

Originally I had convinced myself that I would prefer a watch box over a winder as the winder seemed too "techy" and I don't mind winding any watches that sit idle for several days. I felt like a well crafted box would do just fine and have been leaning that direction.

However....seeing some of the wolf designs I might have to re-think my position. Some of the models with the woodgrain look really sharp. I might be able to get behind the extra functionality of a winder.

I'm thinking Wolf Designs owes mboverst a multi-watch winder and virgins from Egypt, Libya, and The Sudan.

Code doesn't work on the UK version of their site - been looking at these for a while now but couldn't justify - thought my luck was in for a while!

Belay that!

I can just order from the US site instead and get the 50% discount. I've got to pay postage which they're going to contact me about; when they do that I'll have to find out if I'm likely to be hit with import duties and also whether I'll end up with a unit that runs on the wrong voltage and has one pin short on the plug!!!
