Who do you like? I need custom straps, so I like people I can work with.

My #1 all time favorite is Micah from vintagerstraps.com. He's great and the quality and selection are excellent. I've had mixed results with Ted Su.

Now I'm looking for someone who can make good JLC and AP style straps. apbands.com is so-so. Any other ideas?

As I have said many times I like ABP - www.abp-paris.com, but also like Rob Montana (StrapSmith) www.thestrapsmith.com

Micah is my favorite as well Dan. I just got a Brindle and Durevol strap from him, and I am thinking about picking up a Tahoe and French Canvas in the next month or so.

I have never purchased from ABP, but I have heard that their straps are 2nd to none. If I was in the market for non-OEM gator/croc...then ABP would be the place I would go.

ABP for me too. I don't often go in for aftermarket straps, but I've had a few for non-Breitlings in the past and ABP are simply the best IMO.

I do also have a Panerai deployant compatible seal skin strap on my Lum Tec from Time Connection and it's been absolutely superb.

Have to agree that Micah is such a great guy to work with. I know HKTan makes AP ROO straps, but I've heard that in the past he's had long turnaround times.

Heroic18, Rob Montana, Greg Stevens and Micah are my favourites. I can't believe it but I haven't used ABP yet; really must do something about that soon.

I think he had a very slow period a while ago but has become a bit quicker. I got an IWC strap from him a year or so ago and it was about a 3-week turnaround, from memory. Not sure how that compares to others.

I vote for ABP and JnS. I'm very happy with everything I've got from both of them.

I have bought from Rob Montana. Nice and quality.
But by far.. Greg Stevens. I just ordered 3 new straps from him as I love the leather he works with.

Vintager! If you are looking for a Leather-backed Canvas Ammo strap.. his French Canvas Ammo Strap is out of this world.

For those wondering, Micah is vintager.

I have a canvas strap he made for me for my fifty fathoms. He said he had such a hard time making it that he isn't going to offer them anymore.
