I asked the seller to update the listing to indicate it wasn't genuine otherwise I would report it. I got an indignant reply resenting my insinuation that he was selling anything other than a genuine watch.

I politely advised him that we were currently discussing whether his watch was the worst fake we had ever seen and I shall await his further response

Hes right. In the dark dank world of e-bays underbelly its a genuine 'watch'. As in its not actually a tractor, or a pair of underpants, or two tickets to Slack Babbeth in concert. That would be dishonest.

 "One of the more unusual models"?!? Well you can't argue with the guy on that point! It's certainly unusual in as much as it's apparently a Breitling makes no effort whatsoever to actually look like a Breitling! Cunning!

I got another response!!

And he mentioned all of you guys as well as me......

"i'm sure you are well respected among all the other "experts" especially in the confines of the unofficial breitlingsource.com website where i'm sure you feel a lot closer to actually having a real connection to the prestigious company.i don't much care about your need to feel official by reporting this listing."

Enjoy it while it lasts people - don't think this one is going to be around much longer

But I guess he's quite right on the stainless crystal. Isn't crystal by definition stainless?
