i went to the AD tried on both of them and i definitely like the navitimer more it has that look that you just don't get from the chronomat not that the chrono. looks bad its just too heavy i don't know how you can go diving with it or swimming. I need to get a few more finances straightened out maybe in the next couple of weeks i can't wait. my ad is charging 4400$ for the navi. and 3700$ for the chrono. are these ok prices?

Well you understand that you can't go diving or swimming with the Navitimer either right???

Drop jnelson3097 a line for contact details of George at Govberg - he'll give you a good idea of what price you can get in the US.

Hi, whats up guys I'm new to the site love it very much alot of information i watched all the reviews and im stuck between two models i wish i had the money to buy both of them but in US each costs about 4 grand and i don't go out much so the watch would just sit there anyway i really like the chronomat but i like the regular navitimer more but what confuses me about the navitimer is the slide rule i figured it out how to use it and i would put it to good use but the fact is that how reliable is that watch if i use the slide rule all the time will it effect water ressistence will the watch break down or start slowing down, and how hard is it to turn that bezel. The reason a like the chronomat is because of the pilot bracelet and that its big but i would rather get the navitimer just because of its functions all though they both have the techymeter and a chronograph the slide rule stands out but i dont want to have it constantly getting fixed just because i only gonna have one anyway if anybody can help me thanks alot for your feedback cheers.

I know it was a long time since you posted this, but I read this and figured, "What the h*** I post anyway"
It sound to me you should get a Skyracer! A tough watch with slide rule!

Thanks for your suggestion but i ended up buying the Navi World. I did look in to the skyraced and i love the watch but not to fond of the bracelet, in person, the way it sits on the hand it looks a little tiny compared to the watch it self. Some people like that look but i think its not for me. Right now i'm looking to get a divers watch if you have any suggestions, but i dont want anything heavy perhaps a seawolf or a superocean wouldn't mind getting both models in chrono. but i think the seawolf is going to be to heavy for diving i might sink but the superocean i like. I you have any other alternatives i'm happy to lesten even if its not a breitling.

Pretty much what my AD is asking for.

The Navi is a left brain, analytic device
The Chrono is more of a right brain watch (ooh its shiny)

You do need both sides to become a whole brain, no?

I like the Navi's cause they more flashy the chronomat has more of a conservative look to it but compared to all the other warches its still pretty flashy

A not too heavy diver? That sounds like an Oris to me. Check out the Oris divers collection at: http://www.oris.ch/collections/collecti ... ectionid=9

Oris divers are available in both stainless steel and titanium. They have a new diver in titanum with small second and ceramic bezel that is very nice: http://www.oris.ch/collections/collecti ... d=80&ln=en.

I myself ordered a titanum chronograph yesterday and will recieve it next week. http://www.oris.ch/collections/collecti ... modelid=36

The Only Chronomat I Would Consider Is The Blackbird In The Satin Finish With Steel Bracelet But At The End Of The Day 9/10 Times I Go With The Navitimer - The Blackbird Would Be An Impluse Buy!

So I Vote For -

NAVITIMER AL THE WAY :guns:

Best Regards,

Enezdez

for my first, it was the colt chrono, which i wear everyday. it takes some getting used to putting a few thousand on your wrist the first few times, but over time becomes a part of everyday life. i was lucky enough to find the navi i wanted here as a resale for a fair price recently, and awaits its arrival sometime next week. the thing to remember is each has a different taste, so get nwhat you like. going to an ad is a good way to find out, as pics online dont do it.
