Today I received an email from a local auction house about an on-line auction of theirs that is currently running.

In the auction are two A24322 Navitimer fakes that the seller has described as authentic. Even a cursory glance shows the sub-registers at 9 o'clock with a 1 through 7 scale for the days of the week, which Breitling has never done.

I have emailed the proprietor about the watches, but I fear he might turn a blind eye since both watches have bids.

If, as I suspect, the owner lets the auctions continue, is there a legal representative at Breitling to contact for escalation of this matter?

I don’t like fakes, and I really don’t like it when innocent schnooks get robbed by unethical sellers.

Thank you.
