I don’t know this model well, so could you post the reference number, and it would be helpful to everyone if you didn’t expect a response based on just one picture (at least it is in focus). On first glance, it looks OK, but I would need to do some further looking to give a more definitive response. Being used is not a "red flag" in my books, as secondhand buys can be the best. Certainly the box is not original, but that is common for used sales. Did it come with any papers?

Yes it should, and now that I have had a closer look, the watch is a fake. Actually, I could have told that from the first photo as the sub-dial functions/marking are all wrong. I suggest you open a case with eBay to return it.

thankyou for your help. looking at the ones on the net that were showing serial numbers on the back as most watches do. what do you mean sub dial functions?

Most three-register chronographs have: a running seconds sub-dial, marked with 60 seconds; a minute totaliser, which can range from 10 to (most usually) 30 minutes; and a 12 hour totaliser. Your watch has two sub-dials marked to 60 and one marked to 24. If you look at a genuine Chronospace Automatic, which your watch is copying, it has 30 minute and 12 hour totalisers.

Glad you got it refunded. Definitely a fake. You can also see that the strap is a fake stamped strap and not genuine croc.

Wow, that was surprisingly fast.

A good used Breitling watch is a subjective topic so you would need to tell us which models you like and which you don’t, and most importantly what your budget is.

that's good to hear

sometimes the process on eBay / PayPal can be a pain in the butt, and still unable to get the money back

I lost $1200 once, never got it back; PayPal said they were unable to retrieve the money because the guy had emptied and closed his PayPal account

yeah. with all the millions that paypal rape out of people and with their so called insurance to cover people I think you may have been ripped off/ but/ hey/ lifes lessons I guess.i should have taken it to here before I purchased it/ lucky I got the money back so quick/ the guy didn't hesitate either. I just told this had better not be a Chinese copy otherwise I was going to be a little upset/what are they worth. 10 bucks at m ost/ he hasn't got back to me about me sending oit back/ although I haven't received it yet
