Hey, I'm a first time watch owner. Forgive my ignorance. I purchased a Superocean 44 Special from Watchmaxx. See pictures below. A few things I am a little worried about and though someone here could help. Can I rest at peace that my watch is authentic for starters? It came in the Breitling box, leather case, with the new plastic covering the watch, a bezel protector and a rubbery transparent sticker with red writing over the back with a paper sticker with reference number and serial number corresponding with the serial number on the case. But, it didn't come with it's papers. I have reached out to Watchmaxx about this and am waiting a response. But being public holidays I thought I'd reach out here. Also I have notices that it has gained maybe 5 seconds per day in time. Is this normal? I don't want to be freaking out about nothing. Your genuine help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The watch is real. Since it is a Grey market purchase it typically won't come with the Breitling warranty stuff so that is normal. And it's running within its normal range currently. Timing can change over time as the movement breaks in so it could get better from there. Enjoy the new watch!!

Natesen—Thanks very much for your confident response. Super helpful, and great to know. Another question, will the watch definitely have a date stamp on the lug head if I pull the 6 oclock strap off? I don't want to get any surprises when I change the straps.

Grey dealers generally don't polish any markings off like they used to back in the day so it should be there
