Post subject:  Breitling with a blue crown?

Was scrolling through eBay and saw this. I noticed and blue crown and was confused. Messaged him questioning it and he claims the watch is 100% authentic. Am I missing something? I've never seen a blue crown like that.

Thanks Everyone

think the "blue" crown is just reflection from something in the environment the picture was taken in...

Be very cautious. I don't think this is a reflection. I have seen several Chinese fakes that have this coating on the crowns and pushers on chronographs. I don't think Breitling do this too.

hard to tell, but NEVER buy these without verified paperwork, ideally from a trusted source - fakes are very, very close.

I think it’s just the protection sticker that comes right off. Owning a jewelry store I do see a lot of watches come in with that blue protection sticker on them, but like watchfred said be cautious

That is one watch where it is extremely hard to spot the fakes.... I wouldn't touch that model unless I trusted the source and it had all the matching docs.

That was my first thought but i messaged the seller asking abhor it and he said that breitlings have a blue crown. I think I'm going to stay away from this one

Definitely steer clear. I've seen older NOS models with a blue waxy sort of protection on the caseback and sometimes on the crown/pushers, but on a new model it's not something I've seen. As Fred says, that particular model is very well faked, so exercise extreme caution.

If you look at the bezel you can definitely tell it's a fake. Stay away.
