Post subject:  20mm Deployant - Genuine?

Hi Folks,

I have some straps and a deployant for sale on the buy/sell/trade section (http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63307)

A forum member has questioned the authenticity of the deployant clasp and while Ive never had reason to doubt that its genuine, I thought Id post some pictures here and gather some second opinions. I do have other deployments, but all are of the later style with the raised wings logo, so don't have anything to directly compare it to.

If it does turn out to be a copy, then Ive been duped (a number of years ago mind) and will amend the sale listing accordingly.

Thanks in advance!

It's extremely hard to tell some copies from real as some copies are very good and Breitling suppliers haven't always produced a consistent product. However, one tell is the height of the loose-end folded keeper. I have one that turns out is fake, and I know because it digs into the underside of my wrist in a most debilitating way.

Ive not worn this particular deployant in a number of years, but I don't recall it being more uncomfortable than any of the others I have.
