I purchased a Breitling box online the other day from ebay from a 'reputable' seller. When I received the box firstly one of the joins in the outer box was split which is strange as they're normally tougher than that. The inner pouch is peeling and doesnt feel like leather to me and on the button/clip instead of the saying breitling it says Hato Hashi. Appreciate others thoughts on this one please.

The box is real, but damaged. Hato Hashi is just the name of the maker office snap closure. The outer box is just cardboard, so can tear as it has done. You could try, very carefully, to stitch the corner back together with superglue, but be very judicious in the amount you use - perhaps apply it slowly with the point of a sewing pin.

I've never seen anything other than breitling on the snaps of all my pouches also would the pouch peel like this so easily?

I saw a youtube clip earlier where a guy was showing a fake breitling with fake box and this one looks very similar.

Put up a link to the video so we can decide. In the meantime, here is a picture of the closure on my very real travel case from my B-1 box.

Mine says breitling . Also says genuine leather on the bottom and the inside is suede . This is a 2014 box though . They may be different .
