Thanks yes I know in my other post I mentioned vintage breitlings but I am happy with this one for now as after a lengthy search there's nothing available at the right price to me 806 wise.
How can you tell it is real? I cannot see the serial number very well, is t found underneath the reference number on the case back?

It's real because it doesn't look like the fakes of this version and does look like a real one. I mentioned not vintage because you originally posted in the vintage replica section (I moved it).

:oops: ahhh ok sorry, newbie here! :lol: I couldn't find a fake/franken section for non vintage. I believe the serial number is just below the ref number on the case back but I can't see it on the pics. When I find out this number is there a place on this forum where I could check its authenticity or anywhere on the internet you or anybody else recommends for authenticating this serial number?

There is no way to validate serial numbers, the watch is real.
