Hello, I am new to this site. Well I just recently purchased my first Breitling Navitimer 01 of of the bay. Been a big Tag guy but moving on up. With all the talk of fakes/replicas you have me crapping my pants. It is the limited edition black and blue. Very new this year. Have you guys seen any of these faked yet? I receive the watch this week.

What should I look for?

It looks fine to me. The date window is filled and not sunken. The lume is neat and lines up with properly sized and aligned batons. The sub dial spacing looks right, and the logos and fonts look okay. I haven't seen any fakes of this model but I can't say for sure if they exist or not. I'm far from an expert. You would think the seller could take more than a couple pics on an item worth 6k, though. The lack of any pictures of the case back would give me pause if I were buying this watch, but having said that, I think you will be fine.

hi,

looks OK to me...

personally, i always ask for more pictures (back, paperwork, etc.) when buying a full set.

i would have been more concerned about the recent negative feedback wrt falsified customs paperwork, etc. (remember, "buy the buyer before you buy the item!), but not too much of an issue if you are in the US.
