Hello,
I am looking at purchasing a Breitling "chronomat GMT chronograph". I had to make my best effort at identifying it as a A23048. The real question is that the weight seems to be spot on, the logo's and such are legitimate(aka not sloppy, misspelled, drawn on, etc.) but the model number doesn't seem to have a "box" around it like the breitling watches. Is this due to the model year or is it a fake? All help is greatly appreciated!

More pictures added for further identification purposes. Thank you! I also did notice both bands are not the original which makes identification even harder. I didn't really observe the markings inside as closely as I should have.

Not a 23048, a 20348 (http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... at_70.html) and perfectly correct.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Roff,
Sorry my mistake I did misspell that. You are right about the 20348. I appreciate your response. So do you believe it be a fake or an authenticate timepiece?

As I already said, it's perfectly correct. There are no decent fakes of this model.
