the bracelet and color of the date wheel lead me to believe that this is not a genuine Navitimer. Am I right?

OK, dumb question. What makes you so sure that this is fake - I've had a long week, but I'm not seeing it.

Different model though - eBay listing looks like an 01.

an 01 LE w/ this blue panda dial and a solid caseback ? don't think these exist, do they ? sliderule gaps and sunken window remain.

Yeah it's pretending to be an 01, but it's not quite sure whether it's a LE or non LE.
In any case the date font is the wrong colour, it should be burgundy not black for a LE.
Also, if it's a LE it should have silver applied wings and a transparent case back.

Slide rule gap is a giveaway.

Yeah you're right - looks wrong after caffeine :-)

Reported + another one - "Sliderule and date font are incorrect, date wheel is sunken."

Good spot guys. I saw this listing earlier and thought it looked like a genuine Navtimer 01.

The most obvious thing about the Navi 01 quality fake for me is that the subdials are slightly too far apart due to differences in the subdial positions on the gen B01 moment and the cloned Valjoux 7750 on the fake.

So even though it's reported, it's still up. Does Ebay really bother to investigate these complaints?
