Hmm, comparing it to another seller "swisswatchexpo" (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Navit ... 0880725993), the bands do look different. But, I don't know if it's normal.

perfectly real and quite nice, strap and watch.
it does say "cuir" on the strap because it is: leather.

GRRRR.......I thought every strap that says 'cuir' is fake and that it should say croco? (You obviously know an infinite time more than I do about watches - when is it that CUIR should be CROCO? - thanks in advance)

actually quite easy.
"Croco" stands for crocodile leather, only crocodile leather
"Cuir" means "leather" or "hide" in french, so - not surprisingly - stands for calf leather

There used to be shark skin straps, now discontinued, afaik.
These were marked "Requin véritable"
