Need your expertise - just for reassurance - authentic steelfish?
Question- since I started looking more closely to the steelfish dials- I noticed on some of the models (listings found on this forum and online auction sites)- the seconds hand looked like an "arrow" while some looked like a "box"? Any reason why?

It's real. That watch is for sale on this site and if it were fake we would have removed it.

The chrono seconds hand was updated for this model 2 or 3 years ago, hence the different versions. Don't recall the exact timing of the change but somoene will know.

Correct me if i am wrong, but I do not think this is an x-plus or could have been purchased in 2006 as the OP describes.
The arrow seconds hand was released with the 2008 model line, meaning it wouldnt have been released until late 2007.

With that being said, it is authentic, and quite a striking peice as well.

But if the watch has been serviced the hands would have been replaced.

Very true. Howver the OP did state that the watch had not been serviced or even worn since being purchased in 2006.

( For the record, I am not trying to bash his thread or be argumentative. I also am not trying to offend anybody, Just trying to answer the question about the Arrow seconds hand. )
