I found this advertised locally and recently went to view it. The chrono works properly and all functions are correct, however the sapphire crystal is broken. I have found most of the replicas use cheap glass that has a halo in the center when viewed from the side, this appears to be genuine sapphire crystal that is see on all legit models. Here is a picture of the back and front, any ideas on authenticity?

Looks fake to me. There is no eleven minute marker on the top chrono - that's a tell tale. Take a look at the "spotting replica" information on this site. Very helpful and has alot of info on Chrono Evo replicas.

Wow, didn't even see that. Thanks for the help, this has to be one of the closest to real Ling's I have ever seen.....guess I need to keep shopping.

No problem. I just bought my Chrono Evo and spent alot of time on this site to identify fakes, etc in the second hand market. I ended up buying a new one from an AD, however, this site was great in identifying fakes on the net or through third parties. The Evo is probably one of the most replicated 'Lings out there. Good luck with the hunt!

But remember that the Romans version doesn't have this mark on the gen.
