I saw a nice, preloved Colt GMT at bernardwatch.com (no papers available with it). Was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? They also sell the same model new with all boxes, documentation, etc. What I like is that they have good quality pictures of the actual watch.

They do not have an actual storefront, which makes me nervous. However, they have an excellent Google checkout rating. They are a BBB member, and their BBB history is only 1 complaint (resolved) in the last 36 months which is quite good. They give other credentials on their site which I have not looked into, yet.

Thanks!

Recently I communicated with Bernards about selling a Patek Philippe. It took days for them to even respond. The offer that I received was insulting considering the offer was $4000 for a Cavatrava in 90% new condition. The same condition series watch in equal or less condition on their website they are selling for $17,000. $13,000 profit on a $4000 investment? Not in this lifetime!

I have removed Bernards from my bookmarks.
