Despite the dozens of auctions with thousands of items, they’re a small outfit with no capability of or interest in vetting fakes.

They just had one of their vendors sell this queer Breitling, and when informed the watch was fake, they shrugged their shoulders:

HiBid lets their sellers get away with the “we don’t know if it’s real or fake” nonsense and in this case some poor schnook is going to get stitched up to the tune of $920 ‘cause the auctioneer and the platform are too lazy or dishonest to verify items to which they’ve been alerted.

Be careful out there . . .
