I have had a PM from Tarn and she gave me the details she was given. I did a little search and they came back as -

Now I run a huge Materials Recycling Facility in Cardiff and I have heard of this company, but no way would you run a watch business from there.. This is starting to smell very bad IMHO. I have also called the numbers on Lee's web site and can not get an answer. As well as this the mailbox is FULL so can not leave a message

taffy can you contact the local authority there and let them know of the situation and maybe they can check it out? i agree 170 miles is a long's way away

A lot of my wife's family are in the police force. we are seeing them tomorrow so will ask what they think.

I'm not doubting there's clearly an issue here, but I still find this really bizzare.

The "swisswatchstoreuk" eBay account has 1228 feedbacks, all at 100% positive, with Detailed Seller's Ratings at no less than 4.8 out of 5. It seems really odd that someone would ruin what is clearly a decent web-based business for £6K....... and then also run the gauntlet of falling foul of the law for it too. Doesn't make sense.

Well as I say, I'm very interested in how this pans out, and I just hope it all ends well for everyone involved.

Well, if it was done to 10 people and not just one, the dollar amount would escalate pretty quickly. I'm not trying to jump the gun and say he split with the money. But even if there is another more reasonable explaination, it's still NO way to run a business

at this point i cant really say too much but CONTACT has been made
i will let you all know the out come (hopefully a good one) as soon as its all cleared up
i would like to think the best that he will come good one this ,on his return to the uk.

Glad to hear that contact has been made, hopefully it will be resolved successfully.

I would think that with this much negative buzz, we will certainly hear the other side eventually

im sorry that this post may have come across so negative but until "the fat lady sings" i cant be anything otherwise.
i will exspain within a few days and this post will come to a close once it has been cleared and im able to tell you all what has come to light within the last few days thanks to so many people on here and others.

Actually I contacted Lee about a week ago, and I received NO reply from him.

Its strange. I've done business with him and so have lots of people here and he's always quick and good to deal with. I don't know what to say, but I am going to temporarily suspend his advertisements and remove him from the trusted dealer list as I am not getting any response from him either.

I do have Lee's address and other personal information (assuming it has not changed) so I can provide this if it is necessary.

I am also moving this to the Feedback forum as that is where this should go.
